  • To have "conviction" like Shia LeBouf you'd have to like him, be a member of a "marginalized" group and be both deeply narcissistic and immersed in a rich social world where that narcissism is normalized, from a young age. You'd have to be convinced that nothing in life is better than amassing "friends".

I don’t want to sound like I’m guilt tripping or black mailing you but I’d love too have a conversation with you too see if we are as alike as I think. I’ve always been an outgoing person but due to certain circumstances feel I’ve lost myself somewhat and respond with anger instead of thinking logically and responding as I used too. I think a conversation with you for 5/10 minutes would help me a great deal and if you could find the time I would be very great full. I understand you have over 3 million subscribers so you must get this a lot. I would use your statement about ending an email in a giving or asking for a favour in this comment but I’m pretty sure we both know which this is 😂 Even if you read this thank you! • You can't teach or learn a genuine personality. Shia Lebouf is also just doing something. He doesn't know what the F he's doing. Just like everybody else. Stop trying to learn to imitate others and start discovering what you like. Accept that there are no definitive answers or ideals everyone should oblige to. Just learn to listen to your inner voice (how cheesy that might sound). It's okay too blend into sometimes, but don't let society blend into you. Into your cure. Keep trust in yourself. Or how Shia Labeaouf would say it: "You just do YOU!" Make your dreams come true people. But not by copying other people who seem te be livin' the life.

  • i noticed in general of the CoC videos, there are many advices on how to be a leader. but what if i dont want to be a leader? yeah sure, i want to be attractive, not socially awkward and so on. but i honestly dont want to be that guy, everybody is looking at in the club or the one who has to decide everytime where we go tonight. often you can hear something like, do X and you'll be more like a leader, and being a leader makes you more popular/attraktive/confident/... As if non-leader cant be.

  • You're a little bit superstitious. You're scared of hospitals. You have an operation on Friday the 13th for a hernia repair where they will be giving you a general. How do you deal with that. This is exactly what I faced just a few days ago. 13th Sept 2019. As I was walking to the Hospital, it was a beautiful morning. The colours in the sky were amazing. It truly was a wonderful sunrise. (Was told to be at hospital for 7am, so I was walking along about 6am). And I said to myself "this, this is a good day to die". And as I walked into that hospital, I put my fears to one side, and decided that I'm going to have a good day. I'm going to make everyones day good whomever they may be. Not to impress anyone, not win anyone over, but if I'm not going to wake up after the op, why the hell not make the most of that time. I had a blast of a time. From the nurses, the consultants, from the porters, to the surgeons. I spoke to everyone equally, teased and had banter with them, whomever they were. When the porters came to take me down to theatre, I walked alongside them whilst they pushed an empty bed, and we had a scream of a time. We was all laughing and joking down the corriders, and they loved absolutely loved it. When I was being prepped to go under, I had a laugh with those guys too. They teased me about how much coffee they'd been drinking all morning, and that I was dying to have a coffee. And when I came around, in recovery. I carried on being like that. And I saw all the people I'd seen earlier that morning. The porters, the surgeons, the nurses, the doctors. And they all came over wearing big smiles to come chat with me. It felt so good. Everytime they asked how I was doing, and what I'm going to do with the rest of the weekend. Hey, I was gonna finally get that coffee, right!! I really wanted that coffee though, you know. That was my conviction. That's what got me through. For sure, people knew I was nervous. But I never made my problem their problem. Never took my fears out and put them others. Didn't wallow in my own insecurities and demand the world pay attention to me. I made all my interactions about their day, about them being important. I even got let out the same day, in the late afternoon. Walked around the corner out of the hospital, and to the costa I'd seen on the way in, and got myself my damn coffee. And it was just as good as I imagined it to be. You know, if you're like me, and get worried about Friday the 13th and operations, then simply shrug, tell yourself it's a good day to die, and make it so that it is. After all, if it really is your last few hours, then why be a twat about it. Just be cool.
